PRACTICES MARCH 29-APRIL 3

Practices
This week we are going to have 4 practices to get ready for Carleton! Come as often as you are able. Email if you can't make it.

Monday 4:30-6 : LIGHT conditioning
Tuesday 5-6:30: tackling basics
Wednesday 4:30-6: penalties, defense
Friday 5-6:30: easy practice, plays, walkthroughs

Interested in coaching next year?

Kylie, Alicia, Dea, Amy and Elice will be our de-facto coaches next year when I graduate. I am working on a manual that is basically "How to teach complete newbies the fundamentals of rugby in three weeks." I am open to anyone coaching, so these five are by no means an exhaustive list. We are meeting this Sunday (3/15) for a dinner to go over some aspects of coaching and for me to hand out my coaching bible. Anyone who is interested please contact me. Just remember that it is a big time and energy commitment, and that too many people in coaching positions can be disastrous...do this at your own risk, it's really, really difficult but really, really rewarding!

PRACTICES FOR THE WEEK OF 3/16-3/20

Monday: 7:30-9:00pm, passing drills/ball handling and defending against a kick

Tuesday: 7-8:30pm, conditioning with the football team followed by ab workout

Thursday: 6:30-8pm, plyometrics circuit and rucking in the Skogland Field House (meet by the white board and we'll walk over)!

Updated Practice Schedule 3/9-3/13

Monday (3/9): Practice in Tostrud (usual place) 8:30-9:45pm...if you miss, please run 3 miles on your own.

Tuesday (3/10): Conditioning with the football team (OPTIONAL but highly recommended) 7:00-8:15pm

Wednesday (3/11): Practice in the bball courts in Skogland, 6:45-8:00pm

Thursday (3/12): No practice

Friday (3/13): Practice in Tostrud (usual place) 5:15-6:45, team dinner follows
